Evelyn S. Chavez

Evelyn S. Chavez, 95, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024. She was born to Luis Sena and Camelia Flores Sena in Porta de Luna, New Mexico Wednesday, December 12, 1928.

She was a caring and loving caretaker of friends and family. Evelyn enjoyed watching shows and petting her little dog. One of Evelyn’s favorite pastimes was working Bingo with the Knights of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Chavez.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Donna Monroe, and Evelyn Salazar, and a son, Johnny Pino, and her stepson, Freddie Chavez.

A Memorial Mass in honor of Evelyn’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. May 4, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 114 Richards Ave., Ft. Sumner, New Mexico.
