Jerry McPhaul

Jerry Leo McPhaul, 77, of Bovina, passed away on January 21, 2021. He was born June 21, 1943 in Ft. Davis, Texas to Otis and Lucille (Patton) McPhaul.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy for four years. Jerry worked for Houston Power & Light as a surveyor until his retirement in 2008. He married Laura Northcott in Ruidoso on December 4, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack McPhaul.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Laura, of Bovina; a son, Keith McPhaul; daughters T.J. Exline and Kelly Johnston; grandchildren, Terry Exline, Travis Exline, Tamara Exline, Tori Exline, Julie Smiley, Austin McPhaul, Clay McPhaul, Laurie and Cole Bartlett; great-grandchildren, Haelynn Parrish, Riley Exline and Audrey Smiley; a nephew, Shannon McPhaul, and a niece, Carmen Garcia.
