Jessica Alexandria Lucero, 50, passed away on July 14, 2026.
Jessica was the foundation on which her family was built. She prioritized her family and centered her life around them. She was the best cook and welcomed everyone to her home for a meal. She was most fulfilled when her husband and boys were together. She and Jessie were inseparable and, after all these years, still looked like teenagers in love.
Her voice and laugh filled any room. Her favorite phrase was “it’s a bad day, not a bad life.” This family and this world will not be the same without her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ramon and Trinidad Arenas; her mother, Josephine Gonzales; sister, Monica “Mo” Aleman; father and mother-in-law, Carlos and Angie Lucero; and her uncle, Raul Arenas.
Jessica is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jessie; her sons, Jordy, Jacob, Jeremiah, and Jonah; daughters-in-law, Cassie, Bri, Carlee, Ashlyn; eight grandchildren that she adored; brothers, Abel and wife Sophia, Jerry and Quentin; sisters, Jennifer and Natasha; nine nieces and nephews; dad, Ruben, and her aunts and uncles.

“She was beautiful on the outside, but even more beautiful on the inside. She and Jesse and the boys were neighbors for several years when our kids were in elementary and middle school. She was such a good mom to her boys and devoted wife to Jesse. After they moved, I we were always running into each, and always the same friendly person, proud of her boys. I heard Jesse call her ‘Jesusica’ once and it always made me smile when I thought. My most sincere condolences to her husband and boys and her family.
