John Gabriel “Gabe” Navarro, 29, of Amarillo, passed away on July 25, 2026. He was born in Amarillo on May 14, 1997, to Juan “Niko” and Candace Navarro.
Gabe was adventurous and enjoyed hiking and spending time with his family and friends. He was the life of every gathering. Gabe enjoyed drawing and painting. He loved listening to rock and roll, especially AC/DC.
He had a heart and soul of gold. Gabe will be loved and forever missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John R. Carlson, Jr., Virginia E. Carlson, Juan V. Navarro, and Donna J. Navarro.
Left to cherish his precious memory are his parents, Candace M. Navarro and Juan V. Navarro; his brothers, Jude V. Navarro and Julian V. Navarro; his dog, Molly, and his cat, Gus. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends who loved him dearly.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave. in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held at the same location on Thursday, July 30, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery, 2900 S. Hayes St. Please enter through the 34th Street entrance.
