On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, Judith Magoffin Hart, God driven and family loving wife passed away at the age of 80. Judy passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones.
Judy was born October 31, 1944, in Lyons KS to Jack and Dorothy Magoffin. Judy attended Kansas State for two years and then transferred to KU graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in French and her minor was in Spanish. Judy planned to travel the world and speak French. However, she ended up meeting and marrying Keith McBrayer Hart in 1967, the love of her life and raising 7 children who have been homeschooled by Judy at different points. She used her degree to substitute teach in Pampa, Tx, Reserve NM and various Christian schools. She served the Lord faithfully and her community for the last 34 years by praying over her Avon customers.
Judy had a passion for her family. She loved the outdoors, camping with her husband and admiring the hummingbirds.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Dorothy Magoffin, of Nickerson KS, and her beloved mother and father-in-law Birge Keith and Mildred Hart of Moore, Ok.
Judy is survived by her husband of 57 years Keith McBrayer Hart; her devoted sister Carole Jean DeSpain Magoffin of Vermont; her brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Janet West of OKC; her seven children and their spouses, Katrina and John Evans, Keith Thomas Hart, Joshua McBrayer Hart, Judah Benjamin Hart, Kendra and Ben Bristow, Joy and Clifton Keener, and Caleb Logan Hart. She has 17 grandchildren, JR and Lindsey Zimbelman, Christina and Robert DeLay, Nicole and Cody Lacy, Sara and Chantry Cannady, Cooper Hart, Alyssa Hart, Arianna Hart, Gabby Hart, Brantley and Johnny Medina, Jeremiah Bristow, Malachi Perez, Addyson Bristow, Jackson Hart, Ailis Hart, Jasmine Larson, Gunnar Keener, Samuel Larson, and so many Great Grands Logan, Amelia, Cutter, Hunter, Zayla, Iris, Olin, and Creed.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday January 18 th at 1pm at Full Armor Fellowship, Located at 1733 N. Banks, Pampa, TX. Family requests that an informal Celebration where you can recall any memory be immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall and is a come and go. The family will have a private meal at 5pm there at the Church.
Donations may go to the Harrington Cancer Center of Amarillo or to Chad Gonzales Ministries.
