Maria Enriqueta Rodriguez

Maria Enriqueta Rodriguez, 67, passed away on June 1, 2025. She was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on October 15, 1957, to Julian and Catalina Rodriguez.

She was a wonderful woman who had great faith in God. She loved her family so much. Maria had a big heart and enjoyed helping others. She had a passion for cooking for her family and gardening, as she felt that this was a way to unite the family.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Catalina Rodriguez; three brothers, Jesus, Ricardo and Damian, and two sisters, Pimenia and Amparo.

She is survived by her husband, Timateo Garcia; sons Jaime Garcia and Jose Garcia; a daughter, Maria del Rocio Garcia; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., on Sunday, June 8, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East, 34th and Arthur Street.

Era una mujer maravillosa que tenía una gran fe en Dios. Amaba mucho a su familia. María tenía un gran corazón y disfrutaba ayudar a los demás. Tenía una pasión por cocinar para su familia y por la jardinería, ya que sentía que era una manera de unir a la familia.

María fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres, Julián y Catalina Rodríguez; tres hermanos, Jesús, Ricardo y Damián, y dos hermanas, Pimenia y Amparo.

Le sobrevive su esposo, Timoteo García; sus hijos Jaime García y José García; una hija, María del Rocío García; nueve nietos y dos bisnietos.

La familia recibirá visitantes en Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., el domingo 8 de junio, de 1:00 a 5:00 p.m. Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 2:00 p.m. el lunes 9 de junio. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Llano East, en la 34 y la calle Arthur.
