Martin Michael “Marty” Brokens, 61, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
Marty was born May 25, 1959 in West Burlington, Iowa to George Duane and Lois Ann (Crandell) Brokens. His family moved to Texas in 1972. Marty was a huge Chicago Cubs Fan. He worked for the City of Amarillo Utility Department for twenty years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two uncles and a stepson.
Marty is survived by his sister, Susan Barnes and husband Gary; a niece Leah Griggs; and a long-time companion, Cindy Wilburn.
