Mathew Khu Reh passed away on June 29, 2026. Born on February 11, 2012, Khu Reh will be remembered as a bright, energetic, and joyful young soul whose presence brought laughter and happiness to those around him. He was an outgoing and spirited child who never hesitated to share his smile, his voice, and his enthusiasm with others.
Khu Reh had a deep love for soccer. Whether on the field with friends or simply enjoying the game, he found happiness in every moment. His passion for soccer reflected the kind of person he was full of energy, teamwork, and excitement. He was loved by many friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Beyond soccer, Khu Reh was simply a kid who was always ready for the next adventure. He embraced life with curiosity, courage, and a joyful spirit. His willingness to try new things and his ability to make every moment fun left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Although his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and unforgettable memories he gave to his family, friends, and community will remain in our hearts forever. His life reminds us to treasure every moment, to love deeply, and to find joy in the simple blessings of each day.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Su Reh, and his cousin, Bin Sin Cho.
Mathew is survived by his father, Su Reh, his mother, Pleh Meh, and his sisters, Nga Meh, Angelena Lee, Mariya Meh, and Ma Klay.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 3:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, 1200 S. Washington Street. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East, located at the corner of 34th and Arthur Streets.
