There are no words that can truly capture the life of Noel Aysaiah Garcia or the depth of the love we have for him. Noel, 23, of Amarillo, Texas, was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and from the very beginning, he filled our lives with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
If you knew Noel, you knew his heart. He was genuinely kind—the type of person who would help anyone without expecting anything in return. He had a gift for making people laugh, even on their hardest days, and his sense of humor is something we will carry with us forever. His smile could light up a room, and his laugh was one you couldn’t help but join.
Music was one of Noel’s greatest loves. He somehow knew every song on his playlists by heart, just as he never forgot the birthdays of the people he loved. He found peace in reading, happiness by the ocean, and his greatest comfort in being surrounded by family. Those moments, filled with laughter, stories, and music, are the memories we will hold onto forever.
Noel faced battles that many never saw. He struggled with his own demons, but he never stopped hoping for a better tomorrow. He wanted to move forward. He wanted healing. One of the greatest blessings in his life was recently being baptized again and giving his life to the Lord. That decision brought him hope, and it brings our family comfort to know that his faith carried him into the loving arms of our Savior.
Even in his passing, Noel’s kindness continues to live on. Through the gift of organ donation, he will give others the opportunity for life, healing, and hope. It is a final act of selfless generosity that reflects the compassionate heart he carried throughout his life.
Noel was welcomed into Heaven by his maternal grandparents, Esteban and Gregoria Bustos; his grandmother, Ernestina Rosas; and his paternal grandparents, Salvador and Sara Garcia, as well as Jesus and Trinidad Garcia.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Stephanie Bustos; his beloved siblings, Abraham Tarango and Zoe Tarango; his loving father, Ricardo Garcia and partner, Paige; his stepsiblings, Jenice and Sariah; and his grandparents, Abel Bustos Sr., Flora Bustos, Galdino Garcia, and Lourdes Diaz Garcia. He also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.
Although our hearts are broken, we choose to remember Noel for the love he gave, the joy he brought into every room, and the beautiful soul he was. We will miss his jokes, his music, his hugs, his laughter, and simply hearing his voice. He will always be our son, our brother, our grandson, our family, and our friend. His love remains woven into who we are, and because of that, he will never truly be gone.
Until we meet again, we will carry you with us, in every song that reminds us of you, in every birthday we remember because you always did, in the sound of the waves you loved so much, and in every act of kindness inspired by the way you lived.
We love you endlessly, Noel. Rest peacefully in the presence of the Lord.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
