Odise “Butch” Porter, 67, of Amarillo, passed away on March 4, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Coulter Road Baptist Church, 4108 Coulter St, Amarillo.
Butch was born September 22, 1954, in Amarillo to Odise L. and Velvan Oleta (Cook) Porter. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. Butch later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, and served as a Pastor.
He married Claire R. Ames in June, 2008, in Amarillo. Butch loved his Lord, and his family.
Butch is survived by his wife, Claire Porter, of the home; his daughter, Amanda Porter; his son, Jerry Porter; stepdaughter, Jackie Fraley; grandchildren, Jacob, Zoey, Makayla, Tyler, and Kyler, and great- grandsons, Timothy, and Jaden.
