Patricia Elaine “Pattie” Dorsey, 64, of Amarillo, passed away on August 8, 2026. She was born in San Diego, California, on January 22, 1962, to Giles Riley and Loretta Arlene (McKenzie) Phillips.

Pattie loved spending time with friends and family at the beach. She was a people person who cherished those connections and celebrated the small everyday victories. She found joy in good music, especially Pink Floyd. Pattie cherished sharing a good meal with those she loved. She enjoyed watching and caring for God’s creatures.

Although her life was difficult at times, she chose to live with hope and love. Her family finds comfort knowing that Pattie has, at long last, found wholeness in the arms of her Savior.

“Mama Bear: Gosh I love you forever and I already miss you. You were a true and forever friend. I’m sad you’re gone to heaven, but we will see each other again one day. No more pain, no more sadness. I was thinking of you so much, I asked Michelle about you just a few days before you left. You beat me to heaven. Ty for taking up for me so many times when people would harass me. I remember you stayed in a tent in the cold just to be able to keep “” little bear “” with you. You made my family, your.. Michael, Casey, and Christopher, & Tweety said tell you…””I’ll see you at supper. “””
