Robert Scott Strickland, 56, of Amarillo, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family January 30, 2023. Robert was born July 17, 1966, in Dallas to Robert Jack Strickland and Carolyn Ann Hooten (Poindexter.)
Robert was an avid Airman and lover of all people and animals.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Hunter Strickland, Gabrielle Strickland, and Katy Yancy, as well as his grandchildren, Fletcher and Brooks Yancy.

A graveside service for Robert will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2023, at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio. Anyone wishing to attend must be in the line-up at the cemetery no later than 9:00 a.m.
