Starr Angela Boston Bunch

Starr Angela Boston Bunch, 78, of Amarillo, passed away on September 15, 2026. She was a precious soul who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Starr was born in Pittsburg, Texas, on May 12, 1948, to Lewis and Naomi (Williams) Edwards. She dedicated 23 years of service to helping others at the VA Hospital in Amarillo and retired in 2010.

A woman of many talents and passions, Starr truly loved to travel and spend cherished time with her family. Music brought her great joy; she loved singing and was a skilled musician who played guitar and drums. In her quiet time, she enjoyed watching classic television shows like Perry Mason and Gunsmoke, as well as Forensic Files.

Starr was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Edwards and Naomi Williams; her first husband, Raymond Boston; her son, Russell Boston, and her sister, Tanya Taylor.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronnie Bunch; her son, Mike Boston, and his wife, Elizabeth; her grandson, Eddie Boston; her granddaughter, DiAnna Boston; her sisters, Tijuana Taylor, Nancy Martin, and Kathy Perry and her husband, Robert; her brother, Ed Edwards, and his wife, Juanita, and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 6969 E. Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas.
