Theresa June Davis, 56, passed away on October 24, 2026. She was born on December 23, 1969, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Russell Anderson and Karleen McAdams.
Theresa June Davis was a strong-willed woman with a tender, loving heart. She had a way of standing her ground and doing things her own way, yet her love for her family and her willingness to help others spoke volumes about the person she was. She had been through so much in her life, but through every hardship, she showed strength, determination, and a heart full of love. She knew her mind, stood firm in what she believed, and lived life in her own unique way. She may not always have been easy to sway, but there was never any question about the love she carried in her heart.
Theresa treasured spending time with her family and adored her beloved dog, Kanya, who held a special place in her heart. She always enjoyed her favorite candy, Reese’s, and proudly cheered for her beloved Green Bay Packers. She also supported her sons by cheering on their favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans, because loving her boys meant celebrating what mattered to them, too. She enjoyed watching her favorite television series, singing along to hip-hop and worship music, and surrounded herself with beautiful roses. With her love for all things bee-themed, Theresa was truly her family’s very own Queen Honeybee— one of a kind, full of personality, and impossible to forget.
Her laughter could brighten the room, her smile could lift someone’s spirits, and her warm hugs made the people she loved feel close to her. She enjoyed sharing funny jokes with her family and had a sweet heart, always willing to help others. She also treasured the special friendships she shared with Angela Tankersley and Marla Howard, who held a special place in her heart. Theresa fought a long and courageous battle with cancer, facing life’s hardships with the strength and determination that were a part of who she was. Although her earthly journey has come to an end, cancer will never define her story. Her story is one of resilience, family, laughter, friendship, and a love that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Rooted in Christian faith, her loved ones find comfort in God’s promise of eternal peace and the hope of being reunited one day.
Theresa will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, stepmother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, devoted friend, passionate football fan, lover of roses, hip-hop, Reese’s; and above all, a strong-willed woman with a heart of gold. She was, and always will be, their beloved Queen Bee.
Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Russell Anderson and Karleen McAdams, and her first love, Kenneth Hill Sr., the father of her two sons. Her family finds comfort in their Christian faith and the hope that Theresa is reunited with her loved ones in heaven, embraced by eternal peace and the love of the Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Kelsey Lamar Davis; children, Kenneth (Jay) Hill & Esther Natalie Hill, Austin Jay Hill, and Azariah Weston (Garcia); grandchildren, Xander Enzo Hill & Zedekiah Ozias Hill; sibling, Tracy Gower; stepdaughter, Shayla Austin; foster mother, Linda Ferguson; and family by love, Glen & Melissa Hill.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Amarillo Deaf Church, 3817 Holiday Drive, Amarillo, Texas, 79109.
Forever our Queen Honeybee. Forever in our hearts.
