William “Gary” Greene

William Gary Greene, 73, of Amarillo, passed away February 12, 2023. He was born September 27, 1949 in Amarillo to William and Rhonda (Whelchel) Watson.

Gary enjoyed traveling. He was a free-spirit and was able to see so much of the world. Gary enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and instilled that love into his sons from a young age. Even at the end of his life, those memories stayed with him.

He was preceded in death by his father William Donald Watson, his sister Donda Steinman, and his stepfather, Kenneth Williams.

Gary is survived by his mother, Rhonda Williams; his two sons, Shawn Greene of Amarillo, and Lance Greene and wife Laura of Borger; a brother, Lloyd Greene and wife Deana of Borger; five grandchildren, Braden, Brody, Emri, Mia, and Sebastian, and his beloved Yorkie, Oliver.
